Windows Recovery tool acts as solution for an error message “STOP 0x0000008e”

STOP and BSOD error messages can lead you to huge difficult situation. Basically, STOP error message appears on the computer screen when the computer system encounters critical problem caused due to any of the reason. These error messages appears at the time when some operation is performed. Such operation cannot be performed. Additionally, non-execution of such operation results into an inaccessibility of the files saved in the hard drive. Well, restoration of data can be done easily from an updated backup. However, in case of unavailable backup you can opt for a third party Windows recovery software.

Below listed are the error messages that appear on the computer screen at the time when installation of Microsoft Windows XP is carried out and a STOP error message get received on the computer screen:

The error looks exactly same as given below while running the Setup program:

“STOP 0x0000008e”
Or
“STOP 0x00000050 PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA”

Now What Next??? GO Ahead!!!

In addition to this, if an attempt is made to solve the problem by deleting all the unnecessary hardware devices that are installed on the computer system, and then execution of Setup program throws an error message that looks exactly same as given below:

“Setup cannot copy the file Setupdd.sys”

Above problematic situation occurs if any one of the below stated conditions come true:

  • One or more of the random access memory modules that are installed on the computer system are faulty.
  • Incompatibility of RAM configuration with Windows XP based system.

For solving the above error message, follow the below steps:

1. Remove some of the installed memory modules. Leave at least the RAM that is needed for the computer system to start and execute Windows XP based system.

2. Restart your computer system, and then execute the Setup program.
a) Place the Windows XP Setup CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive, start the computer, and then select OK to do selection of the first option screen to perform installation of a copy of Windows XP.
b) Select Accept, and then follow the instructions on the screen for the completion of Windows XP installation.

3. If again same error message appears, then delete a different memory module, or, perform installation of RAM in a different memory slot.

4. Restart your computer system, and then again run setup.

It is advised to start your computer several times in order to recognize memory modules that are working incorrectly.

However, if no results get found, then simply format hard drive. After formatting a hard drive, try to opt for third party Windows data recovery software. Ample of software are available. Stellar Phoenix Windows data recovery tool is one of them. The tool employs advanced scanning procedures to recover data from lost, deleted Windows. One good thing is that the tool does not demand to have a sound technical skills and prior recovery experience.
