Hard Disk partitioning means we divide the data storage space of a hard disk into separate parts which is called as 'partitions'. Data stored in these partitions have its own address location table so if any data lost situation occurs from any partition it can be recover easily and management of data in more secure way. Following are some points in which we discuss throughout the article…
- Various methods to create partition without data loss.
- Points to Ponder while creating partition.
- If data get lost- “How to recover it”?
Various methods to create partition without data loss:
We usually create Partitions when the hard disk is first being prepared for usage. Once a disk is divided into partitions, we can save all data on those partitions like OS, software, files etc. This is the first method which used by most of the users. A user will be faced problem when he resizes partitions, create a new
partition in the unallocated space because of later changes on the computer and operating system. In multiple circumstances, users get lost their data when create a new partitions.
You have 3 options to create a new partition without losing your data:
- You have to backup or files before creating a partition otherwise all will be lost.
- Windows OS provides the feature to create new partition without losing your data. I only heard about Windows vista feature.
- Hard disk partitioning tools will allow you to create additional partitions from existing ones by resizing the existing partitions and creating empty, un-used space on which you can create new partitions.
-
Most of the Hard disk partitioning tools will allow you to convert a partition from one file type to another file type like from NTFS to FAT/FAT32. In this case, especially from NTFS to FAT/FAT32, the files lost their NTFS permissions than we will not access to these files & lost our precious files. So beware about it!!
Many Peoples lost their partitions when they try to create a new partition & some another condition like accidentally formatted/ deleted partition, virus attacks, sudden system shutdown, software malfunctioning, hardware malfunctioning, hard drive failure & many more. In these cases you should try partition recovery software provide by third party.
I checked these software & just wonder how third party software can recover lost/deleted/formatted partitions when this issue is not resolvable by any other method. The software provide demo version which is absolutely free of cost to check that partition is recoverable by the software or not. Full version of the software allows you to save recovered partitions.
Warning:
Do not download any software in the drive from which you have lost data, if data get overwritten then recovery of data is next to impossible.
Do not download any software in the drive from which you have lost data, if data get overwritten then recovery of data is next to impossible.Hard Drive partitioning is not a big task but you have to very careful when doing it because once data lost situation occurs then it’s very difficult to recover it. I would like to recommend you to keep the backup every week which is the best thing to do. Third party data recovery is the good alternative to recover it but try to avoid data loss situation rather to buy any software to recover it.

Can anyone please suggest me hard disc recovery methods to recover my important data from old hard disc please……?
ReplyDeleteHi Indianlist!!
ReplyDeleteI would be honored to help you. There is some basic steps to recover data from the hard drive and if it unsuccessful then it is required to have any third party data recovery software.
First of all, unplug your hard drive and connect it to any other PC and copy all the data to secure place. Then do the following steps with hard drive:
a)Go to the drive properties option
b)Select the option named 'check drive for bad sectors'.
C) Do the steps what windows says to do.
That sit, just wait few minutes and this tool will automatically detect the hard drive bad sectors and blocks for any error or damage.
This is the only possible way that is free and just require a little attention to pay.
Hope it helps, let me know about your current situation.
