Most of the times it happens when we accidently delete or lost our precious files/folders/music/video/picture etc. & thought that it’s permanently delete but it is not as you think. Your file is still alive in the hard drive, you only need to know how to find & restore it. When you delete a file, the OS mark that space as a free space on your hard drive that your file occupies as free space. Whatever the cause of your lost file, there is three good method of data recovery:
1. Restore deleted files & folders from updated backup.
2. Restore deleted files and folders or restore a file or folder to a previous state.

Restore deleted files & folders from updated backup:
- Open updated Backup copy and Restore it follow this path: Start button>>Control Panel>> System and Maintenance>>clicking Backup and Restore.
- After follow the path, click on Restore my files, and then follow the steps in the wizard.
Restore deleted files and folders or restore a file or folder to a previous state:
- Click on Start button and then click on documents.
- Navigate to the folder that used to contain the file or folder, right-click it, after that click on Restore previous versions.
- Double-click on previous version of the folder that contains the file or folder that you want to restore.
- Drag the file or folder that you want to restore to another location like your desktop or another folder.
- The version of the file or folder is saved to the location which you have select.
